She is so adaptable and flexible to all of the unforeseeable situations in birth and has such a gift to be able to produce such high quality and emotion filled pictures and portraits given any circumstance that may arise (poor lighting, tons of nurses in the way, small spaces, among other things!) . The setting for my birth was in a hospital, and despite that, she managed to create a feeling of coziness and warmth. She is a master with her camera and her body; meaning she’s able to get the perfect shot by contorting and bending herself and you’d never know it because her presence is so calming and she adjusts to whatever is needed of her.
She also made me the most beautiful birth video that I’ve watched a million times and will cherish forever. It’s a video that really captures the essence of the birth of my son- in all its raw power. Some days when I’m feeling down on myself or insecure in my abilities or strength I just watch that video and realize what a badass I am and that I can do hard things! So not only is it a beautiful video to be shown to my family and my son one day, it is also a constant reminder of how strong I am as a woman. I can’t recommend her enough, I feel honored that she was a part of my birth team in that capacity. I so wish I had had her for my first birth!”
